Officer: 14-year-old reportedly driving stolen car in hit and run accident that killed Kentucky pedestrian

A Kentucky teen has been charged with the death of a pedestrian after he reportedly hit her while driving a stolen vehicle.
Lexington Police said Saturday that they have charged a 14-year-old boy with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, no operator’s license, possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property and theft – receipt of a stolen credit card.
The teen is charged in the death of Donna Purcell, 59, who was walking in a Lexington crosswalk on Feb. 27 when she was hit by the Chevrolet Cruze the teen was reportedly driving, police said.
Purcell later died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
