A Kentucky mom and dad have been arrested their 2-month-old was found dead and investigators say the baby had deep bite marks and internal bleeding.

Lexington police say father Chendra Magar and mother Rahar Maya Rai were charged this week in connection to the death of their baby in June 2023. The baby reportedly had bite wounds on his extremities and had internal bleeding in its head.

Arrest documents indicate the father admitted to drinking alcohol every day and never recognized the baby’s injuries.

The mother allegedly told police she allowed her 4-year-old child to be alone with the 2-month-old child and found the older child abusing the baby.

Each was charged with second-degree child abuse.
