The body of a Kentucky doctor believed to have drowned in Lake Cumberland after a mowing accident has been found.

On Friday, search crews in Pulaski County found the body of Dr. Robert Supinski, 66, who was last seen riding a zero-turn mower Wednesday afternoon at his home on Lake Cumberland.

The mower was found in about 20 feet of water, but there was no sign of the doctor.

Investigators believe that Supinski may have been on the mower when it went through a fence and fell over the bluff into the lake.

Search crews used sonar equipment in efforts to find and recover the body.
