Two in Danville charged with Fentanyl trafficking

Danville Police responded to Nichols Terrace for a disturbance on Sunday, December 24 at 9:52 p.m. Upon arrival, a vehicle involved was stopped attempting to flee the scene.

The passenger, Antwn Baker, 22, of Danville was taken into custody on outstanding warrants. Officers found pressed Fentanyl pills on a search of Baker. Officers also conducted a search of the vehicle operated by Carson Morton, 38, of Danville.

During the search, additional narcotics were located.  In total, Danville Police seized 190 pressed Fentanyl pills.

Both Baker and Morton were taken into custody and lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center. Both have been charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Carfentanyl or Fentanyl Derivatives).
