A panel charged with finding good candidates to lead Kentucky State University is hosting a forum to get public feedback.

The university’s Presidential Search Committee will host the forum on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the auditorium of David H. Bradford Hall, a statement from the school said. The group is seeking comments that will help it develop a leadership profile as it looks to attract candidates for president.

The session will be broadcast via Zoom and people may also submit comments by email to presidentialsearch@kysu.edu.
Concerns over the the financial health of Kentucky’s only public historically Black university and lawsuits alleging misconduct by campus officials culminated in the sudden departure of its former president in July.

KSU was placed under state oversight after its financial woes emerged and has been working to shore up its precarious finances.
