Police: Tests show woman in wreck that killed six people had been using alcohol, drugs

Test results show a woman had alcohol and drugs in her system when her vehicle crashed into another vehicle on the interstate killing herself and five other people.

WKYT News reports that new toxicology results show Jamaica Caudill’s blood alcohol level was .205. The report also shows she had meth and pain killers in her system, according to police.

Six people, including four children, died in the head-on collision on Interstate 75 that happened in southern Fayette County in early June.

Police report that a Caudill was driving a dark passenger car southbound in the northbound lanes of I-75 when she collided with a white passenger car, carrying an adult driver and four children,

Caudill and one of the children in the white passenger car died at the scene.

The 30-year-old driver of the white car and three other children later died after being transported to a local hospital.
