One Kentucky man is dead after a boating accident on Cave Run Lake.

Multiple news sources report that the Rowan County Coroner confirms one person is dead after an accident Saturday evening between a boat and a jet ski.

The accident was reported around 6:45 p.m. at the shallows off the Zilpo shoreline.

Joseph Reed, 43 of Mount Sterling, was pronounced dead at St. Clair Hospital.

Kentucky Division of Fish and Wildlife is investigating the crash.
