A man is dead after a fiery crash near a Kentucky interstate rest area early Saturday morning.

WKYT News reports that the fatal accident happened around 3 a.m. Saturday morning when a semi-driver ran into a parked semi-truck in the emergency lane of the I-64 rest area in Woodford County.

Upon impact, the truck reportedly burst into flames.

The Woodford County Coroner’s Office said another driver tried to rescue the driver inside the burning semi but wasn’t able to due to the fire.
