Kentucky officials have few clues about early morning hit-and-run that killed woman

Kentucky officials are searching for clues to what appears to be a hit-and-run death after a woman was found dead in the road.

Lexington police officers found a woman dead in the area of Bryan Station Road and Rookwood Parkway after 1 a.m. Wednesday. Officials have not released the identity of the woman.

Officers do not have much information about the collision that caused the woman’s death and efforts to collect evidence at the scene was hampered by rain.
