One man is dead and another man is seriously injured after they were electrocuted while working near a power line in Eastern Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police report that the TVS Cable employees were working in Whitesburg in Letcher County when they were electrocuted.

TVS Cable is a telecommunications provider in Eastern Kentucky, according to their website.

KSP says Jordan Fields, 23, of Whitesburg was the man who died in the accident. Aaron Miles, 28, of Isom, was airlifted to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

State police are investigating what happened.
