A Kentucky man has been accused of fraud by using stolen identities to purchase luxury cars valued at more than $300,000 in Kentucky and Florida.

A federal grand jury indicted Kenneth Mobley, 39, of Nicholasville, on charges of wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and being a felon in possession of a pistol.

Mobley allegedly created fake IDs from three different people, one each from California, Oregon and New Jersey to buy two Maseratis and two Dodge Charger Hellcats from dealerships in Florida.

Police say the total value of the cars involved in the case was more than $300,000.

If Mobley is convicted in federal court, he faces up to 20 years in prison on the wire fraud charges.
