‘An absolute miracle’ — Dog left starving in Kentucky parking lot showing signs of progress

A dog left found starving to death in the parking lot of the Kentucky Humane Society is showing signs of progress and is even wagging his tail.

Officials say “Ethan” has remained stable and is doing well, according to a Facebook post.

“They say he is still wanting to eat and drink (a great sign!) and we got our very first tail wag this morning!” the post said. “An absolute miracle! The staff have made it clear that he is in no way out of the woods but they are cautiously optimistic that he may survive this.”

Ethan was discovered by someone dropping off donations to the organization on Friday.

The Kentucky Humane Society believes the dog may have been locked in a crate without food for weeks based on his condition.
